Diarrhoea, cramp and flatulence tablets
A homoeopathic medicine which assists in the treatment of diarrhea, abdominal cramps and flatulence.
Stomach pains, cramps and colic, mild diarrhea, flatulence/bloatedness, sense of fullness, indigestion, food stays in stomach for a long time.
Mode of action
- Nux vomica and Colocynthis: counteracts digestive system cramps as well as diarrhea.
- Nux vomica, Aesculus hippocastanum, Argentum nitricum, Alumina and Bryonia: are effective in the treatment of indigestion, abdominal distension and flatulence.
- Nux vomica and Bryonia: relieve the sensation of fullness associated with
- digestive upsets.
Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years:
Dissolve 2 – 3 tablets in the mouth 3 – 5 times daily 15 minutes before meals.
Children 6-12 years:
Dissolve 1 tablet in the mouth 3 – 5 times daily 15 minutes before meals.
Infants:
Crush 1 tablet, dissolve in a little water and take orally 3 – 5 times daily.
In acute/severe cases:
Take the relevant number of tablets according to your/your child’s age hourly, gradually reducing frequency as improvement occurs, or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare provider.

Diarrhoea immediately after eating ‘goes straight through’ especially sweets. Nervous stomach and anticipatory diarrhoea, gastritis with ulcerative pain. For gastroenteritis, peptic ulcers and food intolerance. |

Acute gastroenteritis and gastric flu like symptoms including fever and aching. Worse: Rising up in the morning. Diarrhoea in the morning after getting up (when moving) with nausea and faintness. Nausea is better when lying still. Stools are yellow, mushy and rotten and old cheese like smelling. |
Colocynthis D4 trit (Bitter cucumber) |
Colicky abdominal pain causing the patient to bend double, pain is relieved by hard pressure, heat application and accompanied by restlessness. Dysenteric, jelly like stools after eating or drinking. Pain in lower abdomen as if intestines squeezed by two stones. For gastroenteritis and spastic colon. |

Morning nausea with weight and pain in the stomach, bloated epigastrium like a stone, dyspepsia, effects from overindulging in spices, alcohol, coffee and stimulants, from stress and laxative use.
