Bladder Irritation Formula

A homoeopathic medicine which assists with the treatment of bladder irritation and cystitis.

 

Mode of action

Pareira brava, Chimaphila umbellate, Viola tricolor, Lamium album and Berberis vulgaris: assist in the treatment of bladder irritation and infection.

Solidago, Pareira brava, Helleborus niger and Berberis vulgaris: counteract the symptoms of painful and frequent urination associated with bladder infections.

Lespedeza: has an action on the kidneys.

Dosage

Adults and children over 12 years:

Take 10 drops on the tongue, or directly under the tongue or in a teaspoon of water 4 times daily 15 minutes before meals. Discontinue once improvement occurs.

 

Children 6-12 years:

Take 5 drops on the tongue, or directly under the tongue or in a teaspoon of water 4 times daily 15 minutes before meals.

 

Children 2-6 years:

Take 2 drops on the tongue, or directly under the tongue or in a teaspoon of water 4 times daily 15 minutes before meals.

 

In acute/severe cases:

Take the relevant number of drops according to your/your child’s age hourly, gradually reducing frequency as improvement occurs, or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare provider.

Berberis vulgaris D3. (Barberry)

Burning in the bladder and sensation as if some urine remains after urinating. Frequent urination with burning in urethra when not urinating. Pain extending to thighs and loins when urinating.

Chimaphila umbellata D2 (Winter green)

Urging to urinate, has to strain to start to pass urine in small amounts. Burning on urinating, with fullness in bladder yet only small quantities of urine are passed. Prostatitis in men with a sensation of a ball in perineum.

Helleborus niger D3 (Snow rose)

Frequent urge to urinate causing spasms and painful passing of only small amounts. Urinary retention with distended bladder and inability to urinate.

Lamium album D1 (White nettle)

Constant peculiar sensation that a drop of urine is passing through the urethra.

Lespedeza capitata D2 (Roundhead bushclover)

Remedy with affinity for reducing inflammation of urinary tract

Pareira brava D2 (Virgin vine)

Constant sensation as if the bladder is distended with pain extending down the thighs, with cramps in the bladder and legs when urinating.

Solidago virg. D1 (Golden rod)

Dysuria and bladder pain especially at night with only small amounts of urine passed. Obstructed urine flow and sensation of soreness and aching of kidneys.

Viola tricolor D3 (Wild pansy/Heartsease)

Tenesmus of the bladder, with need to strain constantly as if more urine will pass. Constant desire to urinate with very little urine passed. Or excessive bad smelling urine. Nocturnal enuresis.
